Here’s our booth at the Cannabis Collaborative Conference
We had a great time at the Cannabis Collaborative Conference at the Portland Expo Center on January 23-25, 2018. We set up a display of our Vertical Grow System and Botanicare 4’x8′ Grow Trays. You know, the funny thing about those grow trays, is that everyone knows that they are (obviously) 4ft x 8ft, but they incorrectly assume that they need to buy a 48″ deep Garden Rack system to fit their trays. In reality, the 4′ x 8′ Botanicare grow trays are 4′ x 8′ on the outside dimension, but they are designed to fit on 42″ deep racking. The trays actually have a few inch lip on the front edge of the tray that aids in drainage (which makes it ideal for using it in a hydroponics application), and this lip hangs over the front support beam. If you put those 4′ x 8′ Botanicare trays on a 48″ rack, you’ll find that you have a few inches of wasted space and you’ll have spent more money buying bigger racking than you needed. But I digress.
The conference was a huge success. We were able to show both our heavy-duty garden rack system (which works great for all growing stages), and our lighter-duty system (which most people use for cloning). Overall, we found a lot of people who were very interested in our vertical grow system for maximizing their cannabis yield.
We also really enjoyed getting to know the other vendors that were exhibiting at the show. It’s a tight-knit community that we’re all apart of, and we really enjoy making new connections and new friendships. The hosts of the conference were also super cool, and they did a great job putting the show together. We’ll definitely be back next year!
We’ve got some other conferences and tradeshows coming up over the next few months, so stay tuned on the blog and come check out our booth at the next show!
In the meantime, I could use your help. Is it just me, or does our booth look a little bland? Leave a comment if you have any ideas on how we could jazz it up a little. Thanks!
